Henry Carnell is a journalist and producer based in Oregon. He covered science and politics at Mother Jones and technology for the Washington Blade. His stories have touched on topics such as the use of AI in survey research, how solar is dividing farmers, the misuse of evidence-based medicine, the effects of internet restrictions on LGBTQ communities, present day understandings of subatomic particles, ethical quandaries around endangered species, and much more. His video work has garnered millions of views and appeared on Mother Jones, Inkstick Media, and various YouTube channels.
Currently, he is pursuing a graduate degree in information science at University of Washington.
